Helping Your Child Smile Their Best

Early orthodontic visits help set your child’s smile up for healthy development as they grow. At Price Orthodontics, Dr. Cory Price creates a welcoming, supportive environment so your child feels comfortable during treatment.

During orthodontic visits, we look for early signs of crowding, bite issues, or growth patterns that may need help later on. Our goal is simple: catch concerns early and keep your child’s smile on track as it develops.

How Early Treatment Works

By age seven, your child’s smile begins to show important signs of jaw development and how their permanent teeth are coming in. During this stage, Dr. Price evaluates their development and creates an early plan that supports a healthier, more confident smile in the years ahead.

These early check-ins help us spot concerns before they become bigger issues. With timely intervention, we can often use simpler, more effective, and more affordable treatments than what might be needed later on.

Laying the Foundation

After your child’s first evaluation, Dr. Price may recommend beginning early treatment, also known as Phase 1, to address developing orthodontic concerns before they become more complex.

Phase 1 typically lasts 8 to 12 months and uses personalized appliances or guidance techniques to support healthy jaw growth. This early work creates the foundation for a balanced bite and a confident smile.

Once Phase 1 is complete, your child will return for periodic check-ups so we can monitor new permanent teeth and determine whether Phase 2 treatment will be needed as they grow.

Precision With Phase 2

Phase 2 treatment usually begins between ages 11 and 14 once most of your child's permanent teeth have come in. This is the ideal tiem to fine-tune their bite and ensure everything fits the way it should.

If your child's smile needs additional support, Dr. Price will create a personalized Phase 2 plan that adds the finishing touches. This careful, detailed approach helps your child achieve a healthy, confident smile that lasts.

Improving Teen Confidence Through Smiles

Giving your teenager the gift of a healthy, confident smile is one of the best investments you can make. A great smile boosts their self-esteem and supports them in school, activities, and friendships.

At Price Orthodontics, we’re honored to play a part in that journey. That’s why we create personalized treatment plans that highlight the best in your teen’s unique smile.

We also understand how busy life can be, so we work hard to make appointments and treatment routines as simple and convenient as possible for your family.

The Importance of Treatment

Empowering Your Teenager

As your child enters their teenage years, they’ll experience big milestones, new independence, and plenty of social moments. With social media and peer pressure playing a larger role than ever, a confident smile can give them the assurance they need to feel comfortable in their own skin.

At Price Orthodontics, we do more than straighten teeth. We help build the kind of confidence that encourages your teen to show up fully and shine during these meaningful years.

Lifelong Healthy Smiles

Teen orthodontics does more than enhance your child’s appearance—it creates a strong foundation for long-term oral health.

Proper alignment improves how their teeth and jaws function and helps prevent concerns like decay, gum disease, and TMJ discomfort.

By addressing these issues early, you’re helping your teen avoid more complicated and costly treatments later on, setting them up for a healthier smile well into adulthood.
